National Beverage day falls on May 6 and we couldn’t be more excited. The day encourages us to sit back, relax, and enjoy our favorite beverages. Beverages come in many forms. And whether you prefer a hold or a cold one, the good news is, there is one for every taste.
History of National Beverage Day?
Beverages have always existed, in one form or another, since the beginning of mankind. Drinks take varied forms and significance in different cultures. They can be viewed as a once-in-a-while treat or as the driving force behind a much-needed morning pick me up — shout out to all the coffee lovers! The origins of this day can be a little uncertain. Early mentions of National Beverage Day can be found as early as 1921. At this time, the day was known as Bottled Carbonated Beverage day. It was thought of as a way to promote bottled fizzy drinks as “pure” and “wholesome!”
